Extranet Feature

Product: Check Point Next Generation FP1 and above
Please be aware that NG as well as NG AI isn't supported any more by Check Point.
Please upgrade to a supported version like NGX R65 or R70!
Problem: When deploying the Intranet Feature using the "simplified mode", it's not possible to define an Extranet. The feature is greyed out. Even removing all encryption in the rulebase doesn't help.

The Extranet Feature has been supported up to version NG AI R54 only
Workaround/Fix:

Mixing the "simplified mode" and the "traditional mode" for defining VPN isn't supported .
The problem can be solved by starting with a new Rulebase, not selecting the "simplified mode", but the "traditional mode". So "normal Encryption" and Extranet can be set up simultaneously.
