Compatibility between Nokia hardware and Check Point R70

Product: Check Point R70
Problem: Check Point has published the new major release R70. 
A quite often asked question is which (ex) Nokia hardware is supported by R70.
Hardware Compatibility: Check Point R70 supports this (original ex-) Nokia hardware:

- Nokia IP560
- Nokia IP690
- Nokia IP1280
- Nokia IP2450

Other hardware, esp. smaller boxes from Nokia, isn't supported any more!

Since Check Point has acquired the Nokia hardware section, new versions called IP Appliance have been published, supporting the latest version also: 

- Check Point IP295
- Check Point IP395
- Check Point IP565
- Check Point IP695
- Check Point IP1285
- Check Point IP2455

Please refer to Check Point for further information. The last number denotes the number of R70 Software Blades included. 
To run Check Point R70 on these Appliances, be sure to use at least 2GB of RAM - even if the system is delivered with less!!!
When using small Appliances, be careful with configuring all features of all Software Blades, since this might cost performance.
